Mother's Association St. John's Nursery (New Port) hosted a Mid-Autumn Lantern Celebration. With teachers' guidance, children crafted mooncakes and rabbit paper lanterns. During the festivities, staff and pupils performed short plays depicting Hou Yi shooting the sun and Chang'e flying to the moon. The children sampled festive foods and fruits, posing for photographs with colourful lanterns featuring adorable cartoon characters. Additionally, the nursery organised a ‘Mid-Autumn Family Activity’ where parents and children collaborated in making mooncakes. This initiative allowed the youngsters to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere and celebrate the occasion together.
