Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with Family Reunion

Mother's Home Nursing Home hosted a series of ‘Mid-Autumn Festival Reunion Celebrations’ from 13th September to 9th October. These events aimed to promote traditional Mid-Autumn Festival culture through festive activities, enhance interaction and emotional bonding between residents and family members, and strengthen mutual connections.
The programme comprises three segments. The inaugural event, ‘Mid-Autumn Reunion · Fireworks Affair’, sees residents and their families attending a fireworks display at the Science Museum. The second segment, ‘Mid-Autumn Reunion · Mooncake Affair’, features a special outing to Bear Kitchen where residents and relatives handcraft mooncakes together. The concluding segment, "Mid-Autumn Reunion · Mid-Autumn Bond Sharing Session", inviting the Mother's Association leadership, residents, and family members to participate together. They shared Mid-Autumn Festival food customs from different countries, not only deepening understanding of traditional festival culture but also fostering mutual exchange and sharing in a warm atmosphere. Attendees included Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Ms Lam Siu Wan, Vice Chairperson, Ms Fong King Yee, and Mr Lam Bun Chong.
