2025 Christmas Party
06/12/2025
The Mother's Association St. John Nursery held its ‘2025 Christmas Celebration’ at Macau Fisherman's Wharf Convention Centre on 6 December. Over a thousand children and parents gathered to celebrate the festive season in advance, creating a warm and lively atmosphere filled with continuous laughter.
The festivities featured diverse entertainment programmes and a parent-child fairy tale costume parade. Children from four nurseries performed the musical ‘Angels Bringing Good News’, dances including ‘Joy To The World’, ‘Winter Fairy Tale Ball’, and ‘Rocking Around The Christmas Tree’. Parents and children were invited on stage to join teachers in the collaborative dance ‘Warmth’, creating a heartwarming scene. A particularly touching moment came during an interview segment, where the intergenerational bonds forged served as the finest testament to the Mother's Association's quality services and warm care. Led by Father Christmas and several fairy tale character performers, the children distributed gifts to guests and received Christmas presents themselves, accompanied by wishes for their healthy and joyful growth. The Mothers' Association also arranged a particularly meaningful collaborative performance, ‘Butterflies in Flight’, where staff from Taipa Nursery provided piano accompaniment, parents performed on violin, and the children transformed into butterflies, dancing gracefully to the melodious music. The grand lucky draw brought the atmosphere to a fever pitch, with the venue buzzing with excitement. Finally, the fairy-tale themed ‘Parent-Child Costume Show’ brought the event to a perfect close. Parents and children, dressed in carefully coordinated outfits, were led into the venue by fairy-tale characters, transforming the space into a joyful fairy-tale kingdom filled with constant laughter and cheer.
