In order to enrich the life of the Residential Care Homes for the Elderly (RCHEs), an art activity of knitting was organized as part of the Residential Care Service Day Program. The knitting process, such as twisting and winding of threads, could train the elderly to make fine hand movements and stimulate the nerves of the brain, which could help prevent cognitive decline and maintain brain activity level.
