St John’s Nursery (Gao Shide), run by the Mothers’ Association, took the opportunity of this heart-warming Mother’s Day to help the children understand the significance of the occasion and learn to be considerate and caring towards their mothers through lively and engaging teaching methods and educational activities. Under the guidance of their teachers, the children made colourful necklaces by hand as Mother’s Day gifts and presented carnations to pay tribute to their wonderful mothers. In addition, the nursery held an awards ceremony for the children who had won the ‘Tied to a Mother’s Love, Grateful for You’ Mother’s Day photography competition, which had been held earlier.
