St John’s Nursery (Gaoshi De) has always been committed to imparting a wide range of life skills to young children through a relaxed, interactive and practical approach to learning. To mark the approach of the Dragon Boat Festival, the nursery organised an ‘Exploring the Dragon Boat Festival’ event, using lively and engaging activities to introduce the children to the traditions of the festival. These included dragon boat races, trying their hand at making zongzi (rice dumplings) and singing traditional Dragon Boat Festival nursery rhymes together.
